Holiday Club

KidZone Holiday Club welcomes children aged 4 to 11 years who attend Sawtry Infant School and Sawtry Junior Academy. The club is open during the school holidays from 7.30am until 5.30pm.

Places can be booked on an hourly or daily basis, giving families the flexibility to choose the childcare that best suits their needs.

Our Holiday Programme

Every school holiday, we offer an exciting and varied programme designed around the ages, needs and interests of the children attending.

Children can choose from a wide range of indoor and outdoor free-play activities, alongside special events and organised sessions. These may include bouncy castles, animal encounters, ball-skills sessions, dance and drama, cooking, sports, construction, den building, arts and crafts, and plenty of fun games and challenges. We also hold themed days, such as Italian Day and Science Day, to make every holiday varied, engaging and memorable.

Activities vary between holidays, helping to make each visit exciting and memorable.

Alongside our organised programme, children have plenty of freedom to choose how they spend their time. Our well-resourced club offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor free-play opportunities, including:

• Imaginative and role play

• A home corner with a play kitchen, shop tills and dolls

• Dressing-up and pretend-play resources

• Den-building and construction equipment

• Sand and water play

• Sensory and messy-play activities

• Games, toys, puzzles and creative resources

The school is situated on a spacious site, giving children plenty of room to play outdoors. They can enjoy the school’s play equipment and trim trails, take part in games and activities on the large playground, or help us grow plants and vegetables in pots around the club.

We understand that children sometimes need a break from a busy day. Our comfortable quiet area, with a sofa and cushions, offers a calm space where they can relax and unwind whenever they wish.

Our aim is to provide every child with a safe, welcoming and fun-filled holiday experience, offering an enjoyable balance of organised activities, special experiences, outdoor play, creativity and relaxation.

Food and Refreshments

Children should bring a packed lunch and a packed tea each day.

We provide substantial, healthy snacks and fresh fruit throughout the day, and drinks are always readily available. We make sure every child has plenty to eat and drink while enjoying their busy day at the club.

Parents and carers should inform us of any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements.
